Ali Siddiq’s In The Shadows tour showcases his unique storytelling style, shaped by experiences during incarceration. Inspired by Rodney Dangerfield and Def Comedy Jam, Ali Siddiq attributes his unique brand of humor to the time he spent behind bars, when he would tell stories to his fellow inmates to lighten the mood. While he admits back in the day he was workshopping his jokes to a literal captive audience, he knew he was onto something, as he’s now one of the hottest stand-up acts in the country who’s willing to pull back the curtain and tell you the story of his life through compelling narratives that are as introspective as they are hilarious.
