The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo returns to Las Vegas December 3–12, 2026, bringing ten days of championship competition, country music, and Western culture to the city.

At Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, the celebration extends well beyond the arena. From live performances and nightly watch parties to Western fashion, casino events, and rodeo-inspired dining specials, the resort has a packed lineup of experiences planned throughout NFR.

Whether you’re visiting for the championship competition or simply looking to get in on the festivities, here’s what to expect at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas during NFR 2026.

Experience Live Country Music Throughout NFR

Some of country music’s biggest names and rising stars are heading to Virgin Hotels Las Vegas this December, with performances scheduled at The Theater and 24 Oxford.

The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas will host four concerts throughout NFR:

Doors open at 7:30 p.m. for each performance.

At 24 Oxford, outlaw country favorite Whitey Morgan and the 78s will take the stage on Friday, December 4, for a special album release party.

Known for his gritty vocals, traditional country influences, and hard-driving performances, Morgan brings his signature sound to the intimate venue for a celebration of new music produced by Shooter Jennings. Doors open at 9 p.m.

The following evening, December 5, Jenna Paulette returns to 24 Oxford for her 2nd Annual NFR Late Night Roundup. This free event begins after the nightly rodeo viewing party, with doors opening at 9 p.m. Space is limited, so guests are encouraged to arrive early.

Kick Off the Evening at Rodeo Reds

Before the evening’s rodeo competition gets underway, guests can start the festivities at Rodeo Reds, returning to The Shag Room for another NFR celebration.

Taking place December 3–5 and December 10–12, Rodeo Reds brings together rodeo fans, competitors, and personalities for lively pre-rodeo gatherings featuring live country music.

With opportunities to mingle with rodeo stars and fellow fans, Rodeo Reds offers a chance to experience the social side of NFR before the championship action begins.

It’s an opportunity to enjoy the camaraderie of rodeo culture in a setting that combines Western tradition with the energy of Las Vegas.

Show Off Your Western Style at Fringe and Fortune

Western fashion meets Las Vegas flair when Fringe and Fortune returns to The Shag Room on Saturday, December 5, and Saturday, December 12.

Taking place from 3 to 5 p.m. on both dates, this special activation celebrates the creativity and individuality of Western fashion.

Guests can explore designs from Western fashion brand Westerly, customize accessories at a live chain-stitch booth, and watch cowboy artist Laura Goodson create original paintings during the event.

The personal style on display is part of the attraction. During last year’s festivities, attendees shared their favorite NFR fashion staples, from fringe and statement accessories to finding original pieces that stand out from the crowd.

Whether you’re looking to personalize your favorite Western gear or find inspiration for your next rodeo outfit, Fringe and Fortune brings a creative twist to the NFR experience.

Play for a Cause at the All In For Champions Celebrity Blackjack Tournament

The casino floor will welcome special guests on Friday, December 4, for the All In For Champions Celebrity Blackjack Tournament, presented by Seven X Jewelry.

Beginning at 11 a.m., the charitable tournament will feature ten competitors playing for a custom championship buckle created by Seven X Jewelry.

The event benefits Golden Circle of Champions, a nonprofit organization supporting pediatric cancer research.

By bringing together rodeo personalities, charitable giving, and casino competition, the tournament offers a different way to participate in the festivities while supporting an important cause.

Catch Every Round at the Nightly NFR Watch Parties

You don’t need a seat inside the Thomas & Mack Center to experience the excitement of championship rodeo.

Throughout NFR, 24 Oxford will host complimentary nightly rodeo watch parties presented by Kerry Kelley Bits & Spurs.

Running from 5:30 to 9 p.m., these gatherings give fans a place to follow the competition alongside fellow rodeo enthusiasts while enjoying themed activations, giveaways, and opportunities to win prizes.

Last year’s watch parties brought together attendees eager to discuss their favorite events, from bareback riding and team roping to barrel racing. Those conversations are part of what makes the gatherings special, giving fans a chance to connect over the competition and the athletes who make it happen.

Whether you’re following a favorite competitor or simply looking for a lively place to watch the action, the nightly parties bring the atmosphere of NFR directly to Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

Enjoy Rodeo-Inspired Dining Specials

The NFR festivities extend to the restaurants at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, where guests can enjoy special food and beverage offerings throughout the celebration.

At Lucia Mexican Grill, the Wagyu Beef Taco Trio features roasted jalapeño cucumber cream, serrano peppers, tomato, and arugula chimichurri. Guests can also order the Cowboy Cadillac Margarita, prepared with Patrón Reposado Tequila, Grand Marnier, Cointreau, and fresh lime.

Meanwhile, ONE Steakhouse will introduce three specialty cocktails for $18 each:

  • The Harvest: Bulleit bourbon with spiced apple syrup, cinnamon syrup, Australian bitters, and dried apple.
  • Fit for Royalty: Crown Royal whisky with honey-jalapeño syrup, lemon juice, ginger beer, and aromatic garnishes.

Guests looking for a hearty meal can also enjoy ONE Steakhouse’s 32-ounce Bone-In Australian Wagyu Short Rib for $79, served with roasted butternut squash and Brussels sprouts.

With dining, entertainment, and special events available throughout the property, there’s plenty to enjoy before and after the evening’s rodeo competition.
