Boots on the Red Carpet – “Outriding the Devil” Film Premiere
More Information
Blame it all on your roots and show up in boots!
Red-carpet film premieres are usually invite-only affairs — but the folks who live the rodeo way of life deserve to see this story first. Tonight, the red carpet is yours.
Hosted by Yellowstone star Mo Brings Plenty with an acoustic performance by 2X Grammy nominee Radney Foster (& special guests to be announced), this event is a cinematic celebration of rodeo and Western heritage.
Stars of screen, rodeo, and country music come together to share one of the greatest comebacks in rodeo history — the inspirational true story of Texas Rodeo Hall of Famer and breast cancer survivor, Angela Ganter. Take the journey from her pioneer ranching roots in 1850’s Texas, to the evolution of Rodeo, to life in the ultimate fast lane today, lived 8 seconds at a time.
Cast includes Mo Brings Plenty, Eric Nelsen (1883), Eddie Spears from Spielberg’s Into The West, Country music stars Ned LeDoux and Chancey Williams, and making his screen debut, All Around World Champion Shad “Money” Mayfield. Lily Wright from the Wright family rodeo dynasty makes her first foray into acting as young Angela Ganter. Also on screen; rodeo icon Bob Tallman, Stetson and Rusty Wright, Zeke Thurston, Ky Hamilton, Haven Meged, Dusty Tuckness, and Fallon Taylor.
As Fallon Taylor says, “This is not just a great cowgirl story. This is one of the great untold Western stories.”
