BoyWithUke Burnout World Tour With Ethan Bortnick // Friday, April 4, 2025
Charley Yang, more affectionately known as BoyWithUke, saw his meteoric rise to fame after posting original compositions like “Two Moons,” “Toxic,” “IDGAF,” and “Understand” on TikTok. His unique blend of alt-pop and sad rap are tongue-in-cheek and self-depricating, but never without a catchy backbeat and bassline that will have you bobbing your head up and down and side to side as his melancholy lyrics offer the perfect contrast to his lively compositions that he’ll be playing as he passes through Las Vegas on his Burnout tour. Never without a sense of humor, BoyWithUke knows how to command a crowd, and if you’re attending his show, you’ll find your entire physical being overcome with his infectious melodies until the curtain drops.
Joining BoyWithUke on his Burnout Tour is piano prodigy Ethan Bortnick, who at the age of nine
was listed in the Guinness World Records as the “World’s Youngest Musician to Headline His
Own Concert Tour.”
This is an event that you won’t want to miss, so snag your tickets before they sell out.
An Evening With Jon Anderson & The Band Geeks // Saturday, April 5, 2025
Prog-rock fans in the greater Las Vegas area will be pleased to know that John Anderson (best known for his work with Yes), will be making an appearance at The Theater performing a number of Yes songs, as well as songs from The Band Geek’s debut album, True. Touring in support of their newly released live album, “Jon Anderson and the Band Geeks Live: Perpetual Change, ” you’ll be given the opportunity to bear witness to the legend himself as he belts out whimsical melodies with his signature tenor voice over a complex backdrop of syncopated rhythms, and a blistering backbeat accompanied by acrobatic bass lines that will make you feel like you’re traveling back in time to the ‘70s, but without having to wade through all the disco.
Be sure to secure your tickets for Jon Anderson & the Band Geeks before the real band geeks ransack the box office.
Meshuggah w/ Special Guests Cannibal Corpse & Carcass // Friday, April 11, 2025
If you’re ready to bang your head to the most complex polyrhythms that the extreme metal genre has to offer, then look no further than Swedish outfit, Meshuggah. Known for inspiring an entire metal subgenre known as djent, Meshuggah’s music is mathematical, precise, brutal, and groundbreaking. And if you’re a drummer, you’ll break a sweat just watching Tomas Haake belt out intense blast beats that are not only the driving force behind the band’s unique polymetered brand of aural assault, but will also put you in a trance when you experience the intensity of Meshuggah in a live setting because you need to stop counting the beat and let the metal take over your soul.
Joining Meshuggah during this outing are death metal legends, Cannibal Corpse, known for their morbid imagery, morose lyrics, and machine-like precision at BPMs that will make your head spin. Just in case you’re wondering … yes, we’re talking about the same Cannibal Corpse that made an unexpected cameo in 1994’s Ace Ventura: Pet Detective when they found out Jim Carrey was a fan of death metal and personally requested they make an appearance in the movie so he could get his mosh on.
They say that trouble comes in threes, and rounding out the night are extreme metal stalwarts, Carcass, who have made a name for themselves with their enthralling mix of melodic death metal and grindcore since 1985, and show no signs of letting up any time soon.
Once you secure a pair of ear plugs, be sure to secure your tickets for a night of metal and mayhem that’s so extreme you’ll find yourself speaking in growls for the foreseeable future.
GloRilla w/ Special Guests Real Boston Richey and Queen Ray// Saturday, April 12, 2025
Nobody likes falling into a trap, but the trap beats delivered by Memphis, Tennessee native, GloRilla, will make you reconsider some things because her beats will sock you in the chest and her lyrics, which she describes as “crunk and dominant,” will show you what Southern hip hop is all about. We’re not telling you how to enjoy GloRilla’s music, but we strongly recommend rolling in with your party crew and cutting loose while throwing your fists in the air before the beat
drops.
Joining GloRilla on her pulse-pounding Glorious tour is Florida’s Real Boston Richey, known for his melodic hip-hop styling, subsonic bass beats, and signature southern drawl, and Queen Key, whose trap beats and rapid-fire delivery have so much attitude that you’ll want to stay on her good side.
Like we said, falling into a trap is never a good feeling, unless you’re willingly procuring tickets to bear witness to the trap beats and crowd-commanding hip-hop that you’ll experience from GloRilla and company.
