One of the most heartbreaking parts about traveling is leaving behind your beloved family pet as you get to enjoy the finer things in life, like a stay at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. If you’re ready to take a trip to the Las Vegas Strip, but have your reservations about leaving your best friend and fur baby at home, you’ll be pleased to know that Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is a pet-friendly hotel because we know how hard it is to travel without your best friend wagging their tail by your side. Whether you’re staying the night, or for a long weekend, we have accommodations for you and your pet that will not only make them feel welcome, but like they booked their own trip and you’re the one tagging along.

While Virgin Hotels Las Vegas is most certainly a pet-friendly hotel, we’re talking specifically about dogs and cats because we don’t encourage traveling with a 30-foot python.

Dogs and Cats Are Welcome at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas

When you reserve your stay at any of our suites at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, just let us know that you’re not traveling alone, and we’ll be able to secure a pet-friendly room. Though there is a $75 daily fee for pet-friendly chambers, your dog or cat will feel right at home, as our staff provides amenities such as dog beds, food and water dishes, and doggie bandanas. In other words, we hook them up with everything they’ll need to enjoy their stay.

What’s more, from 6:00-11:30 am daily, we have in-room dining accommodations in the form of Pet Protein Bowls. From our “Pollo-Over” roasted chicken breast dish with diced potatoes to our “Jurassic Bark” dish featuring ground sirloin with diced potatoes and carrots, your pawed partner in crime can chow down to their heart’s content while living a life of luxury alongside their kind and magnanimous caretaker who was so gracious to bring them along to experience the style and sophistication they enjoy each time time check into Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

Doggy Do’s and Don’ts

Okay, now that we’ve got you excited, we’ve got to get down to the nitty gritty when it comes to best practices for bringing your beloved pet along with you during your travels. Outside of service animals, health code regulations dictate that dogs are not allowed in public areas, like our food and beverage venues, our spa, or our pool areas. Of course they’re allowed to pass through to get to and from their room if you’re taking them along for the ride as you venture out into the Vegas Strip for a night on the town, but while on hotel grounds they’ll need to make themselves comfortable in your chamber or suite.

While walking to and from your doggy-digs, your pet will need to be kept on a leash at all times, but they’re free to roam once you get to your room.

Should an occasion arise that requires you to leave your pet in your room unattended, they need to be placed in a kennel or carrier not only for their safety, but the safety of our guests. If you don’t feel comfortable about busting out the old dog crate, or you plan to be away from your room for an extended period of time, you’re more than welcome to contact our Concierge staff and arrange for a dog sitter in your absence.

We Want What’s Best For You and Your Pet

Our goal is to make sure that you and your pet feel safe, seen, heard, and cared for at all times during your stay, and to that end, we’d love to be your first choice whenever you find yourself passing through the City of Lights. We know traveling can sometimes be difficult, especially if you’re expecting your best friend to greet you at the door after a hard day’s work. If your time away from home feels lonely without your dog or cat by your side as you turn in for the night, you can rest easy knowing that they’re always welcome to stay with you when at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas becase we’re a pet friendly hotel.
